Insurance brokers who utilize the InsuranceQuotes web interface can capitalize on the delivery of over 30 000 insurance purchase enquiries from InsuranceQuotes.co.za users every month. IQ Broker Services is seeking to establish mutually profitable business relationships with Insurance Brokers countrywide by offering a limited number of contracts to license the IQ Internet technology.
License agreements will provide broker partners with sole and exclusive use within a limited number of geographical regions.
How are quotes requested?
Consumers enter the details of their quotation request by completing a quotation request form on the InsuranceQuotes.co.za web site.
The form is divided into sections. The information requested in each section must be completed in order for the quotation request to be successfully submitted. The information requested includes client addresses, telephone numbers and ID numbers. Clients also include an email address.
The insurance info section includes all the information that SA insurers require in order for the broker to obtain a quotation.
This information is then automatically submitted, in real time, via system-generated email, to the relevant IQ Broker Partner who holds the license for the geographical area in which the client is situated.
The system-generated email is automated and allows Brokers to either respond electronically or directly to the Consumer with a quotation. The system will generate a unique reference number for each submission in order for Consumers to retrieve their quotation on lines. Quotations are continually sorted by the system in order to display the best 10 quotations (in order of price).
By utilizing the Broker Search Engine, Consumers are also able to locate specific service providers in a designated geographical area relative to the Consumers postal code. The InsuranceQuotes database will display a directory of these service providers and their company information. The amount of information available to the consumer will include full company and contact details as well as a link to the IQ Broker Partner's web site.
How are quotes returned to clients?
Before a Broker can receive requests to quote he must be registered on the www.InsuranceQuotes.co.za web site.
Brokers will be listed and their details recorded in the InsuranceQuotes database according to the type of subscription they choose.
Once registered, sales leads will be identified from information provided by clients visiting the web site, and matched with the selection criteria provided by brokers when updating their listing profile. The client details are forwarded immediately to the corresponding broker by email. A response facility is embedded in each email to allow for immediate email submission of quotations back to the clients quote box on the web server. Brokers can provide up to 10 alternate quotes to clients.
Brokers could also contact clients directly via telephone or email to submit or follow-up quotations and obtain any further outstanding client information that may be required.

Discounts are available for long term licensing contracts, multiple licenses or advance payments.
Licensing fees are invoiced monthly and payable in advance on the 1st of each month.
An initial deposit equal to 1 months licensing fee is payable in the event of monthly licensing. This is refunded at the end of the licensing period or can be offset against the final licensing instalment.
Minimum license period is 6 months by instalments or 3 months by advance payment.
System set up fee - R60 once off
Database activation fee - R50 once off

Integrated Quotation Facility - Allows consumers to submit their quotation request and receive the 10 best quotations on offer from registered brokers.
Medical Aid / Healthcare Quote Facility - under re-development
Broker Search Engine - The Consumer selects the type of insurance they are interested in. They enter their postal code and the level of response they would like. The search engine scans the database and returns information 100% relevant to the request. The user then clicks down the responses for further contact details relevant to that service provider.
Click Though Animated Banners - Ancillary service providers to the industry (autoglass, home security, investments, life assurance etc.) are able to promote their products and services within the industry and also maintain a valuable presence and exposure to a growing number of visiting clients and brokers. Only one banner per sector will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
Direct Partner Links for Specified Insurance Products - These are direct Internet links to partners with e-commerce enabled websites. This allows customers to transact business directly with them.
One slot for each of the following insurance products is allocated: Personal Accident, Legal Cover, Travel Insurance, Unit Trusts and Investments, Online Share Trading, Pet Insurance, Marine and Small Craft Insurance and Funeral Policies.
Web Page Design and Hosting - Professionally produced web pages are offered to those brokers who require an Internet presence. Standardization in certain formats has allowed us to offer this service at extremely competitive rates.

- Click on "Apply For Membership".
- Brokers will be given two options - bronze and silver
- Choose the option most suitable to your business needs.
- Complete the form and SUBMIT.
- You will receive a unique Broker Registration Code and an email from the InsuranceQuotes admin centre confirming your registration.
- One you have received confirmation of your registration you are ready to receive leads / quote requests from consumers. (Only applicable to silver subscribers / licensees)
